“In response to the immense community need, during the spring when we first launched the Testing Center, we were testing up to 160 patients a day,” said Salvatore Perla, DrPH, President, Norwood Hospital. “While the hospital remains closed including emergency services, the need for local testing services has not diminished, and we have been working to reestablish safe and convenient COVID-19 outpatient testing to support the communities we serve during this public health emergency. We want to thank town of Norwood officials for their overwhelming support and encourage community members to contact their physicians if they need a COVID-19 test.”

Norwood Hospital’s Outpatient COVID-19 Testing Center joins the recently opened physical and occupational program, Norwood Performance Therapy, which opened on Rte. 1 in Norwood. Norwood Hospital continues to offer services to the community including diagnostic imaging, mammograms, comprehensive cancer care, outpatient specialist and primary care telehealth and in-person visits and outpatient sleep testing.
