30 Norwood Hospital Physicians named to “Top Doctors” List
Norwood, MA – December 21, 2015 –Norwood Hospital physicians have been named to Top Doctors lists in both Boston Magazine and South Shore Living Magazine for 2015. Six physicians affiliated with Norwood Hospital were selected for the prestigious Boston Magazine Top Doctors listing, while more than 30 Norwood Hospital doctors made the listing for South Shore Living Magazine.
Physicians selected by Boston Magazine included Obstetrician and Gynecologist, John Al-Jamal, MD; Primary Care Physician Dayna Anderson, MD; Pediatrician Jonathan Caine, MD; Surgeon Peter J. Lydon, MD; Family Medicine Specialist James Macek, MD; and Psychiatrist Norman Tabroff, MD.
In addition, 30 Norwood Hospital physicians were recognized as among the best on the South Shore, by South Shore Living Magazine, including 7 surgeons, 3 obstetricians/gynecologists and 6 pediatricians. The lists, which are part of the magazine’s December 2015 issues, are developed in partnership with Castle Connelly Medical Ltd, a health care research company. The review of the area’s best physicians includes doctors in more than 50 specialty areas. According to Castle Connelly, their research methodology is designed to identify doctors that will speed patients' healing, minimize pain and discomfort, shorten recovery periods and enhance and lengthen lives - in other words, achieve the best possible health outcomes.
