Norwood Hospital Hosts FREE Information Sessions

Norwood, MA – March 6, 2017 – Norwood Hospital will host three FREE Health Information Sessions in the month of April. Community members are invited to register.

Join Dr. Zacharo Moditi, Norwood Hospital Obstetrician and Gynecologist, for a discussion on Pregnancy After 35. This FREE session will include a question and answer period and is presented in partnership with the Hockomock Area YMCA. Light refreshments will be served and registration is required.

Derek Frederickson and Peter Lydon will present a discussion on Gastroesophagael Reflux Disease (GERD), including symptoms, diagnosis and treatment options, including an innovative, minimally-invasive treatment option now being offered at Norwood Hospital. The Norwood Hospital Center for Weight Control hosts a FREE information session each month for anyone interested in learning more about surgical weight loss options in a comfortable and supportive environment. Spring sessions are scheduled for March 8, April 12 and May 17. Sessions include a presentation by Surgeon and Program Director, Dr. Adam Glasgow, the opportunity to hear from actual patients of the program, and a question and answer session. Surgical options include Sleeve Gastrectomy and LAP-BAND®. A new, non-surgical option, the Gastric Balloon, will also be presented.
