The Steward® Multiple Sclerosis Institute is a unique program dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of multiple sclerosis patients. Its goal is to provide comprehensive care so that MS patients need not travel to Boston for their care.
Dr. Salvatore Napoli, the medical director of the Multiple Sclerosis Institute, trained extensively as a multiple sclerosis fellow. He spent four years in comprehensive training and clinical research at the Harvard Multiple Sclerosis Program at Brigham and Women’s MS Center. He also has subspecialty interest in the treatment of spasticity. Dr. Napoli is active within the MS community as a speaker and contributor to forums and journals for professionals and patients.
The institute's goal is to provide comprehensive management of multiple sclerosis patients by a community of physicians and health care professionals who specialize or have a sub-specialty interest in MS. We also serve as a second opinion referral source for neurologists, with referrals from all parts of Massachusetts, New England and upstate New York.
