At Norwood Hospital, our Diabetes Care Program provides comprehensive education and support for participants and their families. From diet and exercise information to medication and glucose monitoring, Norwood Hospital’s specially trained health professionals partner with participants to help them learn how to self-manage their diabetes and decrease the risk of future complications.
Nationally recognized by the American Diabetes Association, our Diabetes Care Program’s certified diabetes nurse educator and registered dietitian/diabetes educator provide participants and their families:
A physician referral is required for diabetes outpatient services. Convenient appointment times for consultations and instruction are available.
Most health insurance plans cover all or at least a portion of this service. For those without insurance or whose coverage is insufficient, special payment arrangements can be made.
